'Rogue One' video review by The Onion offers an unique criticism
The first Rogue One: A Star Wars Strory reviews are out following its release on 14 December. But if you are a true Star Wars fan, this review from our favourite satire news outlet, The Onion, will definitely strike a chord. In it, movie critic Peter K. Rosenthal unsuccessfully attempts to sing the movie's praises as he inevitably falls back to one unrelated thing that really annoys him: a seemingly impossible-to-do Star Wars photo mosaic that he purchased some time ago. "Rogue One is the next installment in the epic Star Wars series, and a film that needed to go a long way to earn back my trust after last year's release of the thoroughly disappointing 'Droids of the Resistance' jigsaw puzzle," he says with slight disappointment. Why have a vehicle when you can have a mushy, drivable meat lump? Now that the nation has elected Donald Trump as president, it's time for some reflection of what he has said on the campaign trail and whether or not he will see his statements through. After showing clips of the contradictory things Trump has uttered over the past few months, Noah describes it best: "He's like a magician, telling everyone how he did a trick some people are like 'Wow, it's magic!" Journalism isn’t dying; it’s getting smarter than ever. As newspaper circulation collapsed with the reign of digital, things seemed bleak for the traditional idea of the press. (Between 2001 and 2009, nearly one in five newspaper journalists had already lost their jobs, and the newsroom workforce shrunk another 10% in 2014.) But journalists have been key innovators during the exponential growth of the Web, blazing trails and staking claims to keep the essential profession as current and changing as the times we live in. The company allows employees to use 20 percent of their time (one day per week) to work on projects unrelated to their main jobs — and several major products, like Gmail and Google News, began through the program.
