Roses are red, violets are blue, Twitter has anti-Trump Valentines for you

Yes, it's technically Valentine's Day, but considering events of the last 24 hours — not to mention the past four weeks — you'd be forgiven for feeling distracted.

Instead of compartmentalizing your romantic and political anxieties, mash them together into a Valentine's Day poem and hope we're all still here this time next year.

Here's some writing inspiration, courtesy of Twitter:

The iPhone 8's screen might be way more than just a pretty glass panel

Brace yourself, because Apple might really kill the iconic home button with built-in Touch ID fingerprint sensor on the iPhone 8.

A newly granted patent, discovered by AppleInsider, reveals Apple is at least exploring the idea of integrating the fingerprint sensor into the display, making Touch ID's existing "capacitive drive ring" around the home button (and the button itself) unnecessary for future iPhones.

The patent outlines the use of a new type of display technology that uses embedded micro LEDs and an IR diode to essentially scan and detect the position of a finger on the screenLuxVue, a company Apple acquired in 2014 that specializes in low-power micro LED displays, is reportedly behind the technology. What's on TV? Facebook.

Facebook may still shy away from the term "media company," but the social network will soon have its own set of TV apps.

Facebook video apps are coming to a whole array of set-top boxes, including Apple TV, Amazon Fire TV, Samsung Smart TVs and other platforms, the company announced on Tuesday. The apps, which will be launching "soon," will allow Facebook users to watch the same videos they encounter in the News Feed on their televisions.

Though Facebook has supported streaming video to TVs via Google Cast and Apple AirPlay since last year, the app will mark the social network's first dedicated TV experience.  Read more...

This Wall Street veteran is changing the conversation about women, and men, investing

Women should own it.

It's a sentence up for interpretation. For Sallie Krawcheck, one of the most powerful women in finance and now CEO of women-focused investment platform Ellevest, it should definitely apply to stock, and it should also apply to behavior in the workplace.

That's why Krawcheck titled her new book "Own It: The Power of Women at Work." It's a mix of personal anecdotes of her time on Wall Street and advice on how to navigate the world of finance and investing, especially if you're a woman.

Speaking with Mashable's BizPlease podcast, Krawcheck shared some of those tips as well as her view on media (turns out she was a journalism major in college), the gender pay gap and diversity in the workplace.  Read more...

Where the hell did this head-banging purple bird meme even come from

A purple, head-banging bird is everywhere now. It's on Facebook, YouTube, in the comments on New York Times stories and even in your texts. The popular pigeon has become a meme monster.

The bird is the creation of illustrator and visual development artist Syd Weiler who unleashed the fowl upon the world after some unexpected inspiration.

Weiler said she got the idea while visiting Minneapolis. "I was sitting by a pond ... and there were just pigeons everywhere," she said. "I had never thought about pigeons before. They're funny little birds. They have really shiny, colorful, almost rainbow-y feathers, but then they bob around and waddle and beg for food. They're like doves but they eat trash." Read more...

Twitter has a field day roasting Sean Spicer's softball Skype questions

When things get tough at the White House's daily press briefings, Press Secretary Sean Spicer turns to his new Skype seats.

The questions that come in via video chat have been derided as softballs ever since they were included in the daily meetings at the beginning of the month. Tuesday's session, though, saw them taken to the next level.

Everyone online was laughing about a particularly easy question about regulations, which was thrown Spicer's way from a reporter at conservative online outlet The Federalist Papers. Here it is:

After that question, which had nothing to do with the chaos unfolding in the Trump administration around the resignation of national security advisor Michael Flynn, Twitter went all out making fun of the Skype questions in general while including jabs at the bumbling Spicer. All this joking sent "Skype" to the top of the trending list in the U.S.  Read more...

Nothing like eating the hottest chicken wings on earth to soothe the burning awkwardness of a first date.

The filmmakers at Facts. put blind daters Shannon and Tom to the test at Just Wing It in Dublin, Ireland, by challenging them to eat incredibly spicy Carolina Reaper-infused chicken wings.

To put this in perspective, the Carolina Reaper pepper won the 2013 Guinness Book of World Records contest for the world's hottest pepper in the world.

This challenge makes for some great first date conversation and really turns up the heat between the pair.

After experiencing this type of unimaginable pain together, our brave couple agrees to go on another date, hopefully without tears and snot pouring down their faces. Read more...

'Pokémon Stadium' player gets incredibly lucky with critical hits

Beating Pokémon Stadium for the Nintendo 64 is no easy task. Speedrunner Mark "Werster" McKenzie has not only completed the game multiple times, he just beat his own world record with a run time of 20:09:49, too — over 20 hours of Pokémon battling.

Werster's world record Pokémon Stadium run on Sunday crushed his previous record of 27:05:27, which he set in March 2015. To even get to that point required a ton of skill and knowledge of the game, as well as endurance. As of now, Werster is the only person to even hold a time on Speedrun.com for completing Pokémon Stadium

The huge difference between Werster's previous record and his new time was due to a mixture of finding faster routes through the game, using improved fight strategies and a little bit of luck from the game itself. He said he spent about 400 to 500 hours planning out this run. Read more...

Assange — publisher of WikiLeaks — to his credit, did not immediately begin typing out a barrage of pro-President Donald Trump screeds. His organization, WikiLeaks, spends a great deal of time shouting about how the world is unfair to the president of the United States.

"pay for play" settlement; hated on a rival channel which stars a 5-year-old; and trolled fans by saying he would delete his channel after 50 million subscribers and instead deleted a secondary channel he barely uses.

Trump decries 'tremendous increase' in U.S. autism cases. But it's not so simple.

While it's true that autism prevalence has increased in the U.S. during the past two decades, that doesn't necessarily mean that the developmental disorder is growing worse. However, President Donald Trump seems to think it is.

Trump's thoughts on the issue were revealed on Tuesday when he appeared at a White House event with parents and teachers.

When combined with his past comments suggesting that he believes there may be links between autism and vaccines, Trump's comments represent another troubling instance of the U.S president rejecting mainstream scientific evidence on a range of critical issues.  Read more...

Harrison Ford nearly gave us all a heart attack again with his latest airplane drama

Nearly two years after surviving a hard crash-landing of his single-engine 1942 Ryan Aeronautical ST3KR at the airport in Santa Monica, the actor formerly known as Han Solo accidentally flew directly over a loaded commercial jetliner in Orange County, California, when he mistakenly landed on a taxiway instead of a runway, according to NBC News.

New study counts your calories ... based on your tweets

Twitter could shine light on what public health in America really looks like.

That's what's being suggested by new research out of the University of Vermont's Computational Story Lab, which paints a portrait of how many calories people are burning and eating in different parts of the country — via their tweets.

The tweet calorie-counting happens through a wonderfully named online tool called a "Lexicocalorimeter." The program gathers up millions of geo-tagged tweets and looks through them for food terms like "ice cream" and "apples" as well as activity-related phrases and words like "watching TV" or "skiing." The gimmick works if you say "Hey 'Puter" or "Hey Computer" (gravely Will Arnett voice not required). When you do, Siri will respond with a handful of Batman-appropriate responses like, "How can I help you, Lego Batman" and "Welcome home, sir. FYI, Robin is trying on costumes in the Batcave again. He's doing some pirouettes in Batryshnikov."

Here's a look at some of the responses we got when we tried it out: Read more...

Penguins given Valentine's hearts to spruce up their nests and attract the ladies

Everyone is celebrating right now, including some romantic penguins at the California Academy of Sciences.

Biologist Piper Dwight handed out red felt Valentine's hearts to 14 African penguins during feeding time.

With adorable results, obviously.

According to Dwight, the penguins will take these fuzzy hearts back to their nests to help them sit on eggs and create burrows, or they'll probably just steal them from one another to see who can collect the most.

Male penguins will also use them to decorate their nests, which encourages bonding and breeding among penguin couples.  Read more...

New low-power chips could put voice control everywhere

After countless awkward interactions and botched commands, we're finally getting to the point where it feels natural to have a conversation with our devices. From the rumored Samsung Bixby and Apple's OG personal assistant Siri in phones to Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant in smart home hubs, using at least one form of voice control tech is becoming the norm.

But this is just the start for smart devices — and a new breakthrough from MIT researchers could make it even easier to include voice command systems in everyday electronics. The MIT team has developed specialized chips designed to make automatic speech recognition far less power-consuming.  Read more...

What a Snapchat phone could look like

We already know that the makers of Snapchat can reinvent sunglasses. But what about smartphones?

In hypothetical concept designs, marketing firm Mediakix envisions what a Snap Inc. smartphone might look like, if the company that owns Snapchat was working on one.

It might seen outlandish for Snap to make a phone, but not if you read the company's IPO earlier this month. Snap made it clear that it's about more than just an ephemeral messaging app on your phone —it's also about hardware.

SEE ALSO: Snapchat's IPO reveals how much it cost to make a man disappear

Especially as Facebook continues to mimic Snapchat's features, developing new gadgets could be one way for Snap to stay relevant. The company seems to know that. Since last summer, Snap has hired dozens of employees who specialize in developing hardware, particularly cellphones.   Read more...

Ivanka Trump becomes a thirsty AF meme when faced with Justin Trudeau

Ivanka Trump and real life Disney character Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau may be from different sides of the aisle, but the pure thirst the former is displaying for the latter is strong as hell. At least, according to the jokesters online.

While haters will say the images captured during Trudeau's meeting Tuesday with Donald Trump and co. in Washington display only platonic interest and nothing more, known body language experts — Twitter — knows what's really up.

Forbidden desire, that's what.

How far they'll go: 'Moana' shows the power of Polynesian celestial navigation

One of the greatest feats of human migration in history was the colonisation of the vast Pacific Ocean by Polynesian peoples. They achieved it thanks to their sophisticated knowledge of positional astronomy and celestial navigation.

The Disney film Moana has drawn attention to these accomplishments and helped inform a new generation about the complexity of Indigenous astronomy.

Polynesia forms a triangle across the Pacific, with Hawaii to the north, Rapa Nui (Easter Island) to the southeast, and Aotearoa (New Zealand) to the southwest, with Tahiti in the centre. But Polynesian voyaging extends beyond this triangle; there is strong evidence they reached the coast of South America and sub-Antarctic islands. Read more...

See, a cinema staffer randomly found a cucumber lying in an aisle following a Fifty Shades Darker screening.

The folks at the Hayden Orpheum in Sydney, Australia found the veg, snapping the photo and posted it on Facebook. "That awkward moment when you find a cucumber in the cinema after a session," the cinema wrote.

Huawei to launch P10 flagship phone on February 26

But Huawei isn't playing that game this year. The company just posted a teaser video which clearly announces the launch of a new flagship: Huawei P10.

There's very little info there besides the name, though. The launch date is Feb. 26, and the stage is the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona. The imagery in the video seems to highlight the device's likely dual camera, while the slogan, "Change the way the world sees you", is a bit tougher to decode.  Read more...

Basketball team refuses to play without its female members, forfeits season

Sometimes the spirit of girl power is expressed by nine fifth-grade boys saying they'd rather forfeit an entire season's worth of basketball games than kick out their female teammates. It's a beautiful thing.

Until recently, St. John the Apostle Parish School in New Jersey had a co-ed basketball team which consisted of 11 players, nine of them boys, two of them girls, all of whom had been largely playing together since second grade. Rules and regulations of their league stated that after fourth grade the team could no longer be co-ed, so the boys from the team decided to speak up.

Forget flowers, 'love insurance' was a trending gift on Valentine's Day

First comes love, then comes — love insurance?

Buying love insurance is the latest trend sweeping millennials in China, with a growing number of couples signing up.

If they do end up getting married, they receive a payout, usually in the form of a larger amount of cash.

And they're doing it because the "insurance" provides them with a sense of security, according to the social media buzz. Many take the policies as assurance that their partner is serious in furthering the relationship. Read more...

Italian restaurateur has brilliant idea to award polite children

It's a well-known, stereotypical scene: Italian children plaguing customers' lunches at restaurants with their rowdy behaviour under the benevolent glance of their parents.

It happens so frequently that a restaurateur came up with a brilliant idea to solve the nuisance — a 5 percent discount for "polite" children.

Antonio Ferrari, who owns the eponymous wine bar in the city of Padua, introduced the offer after spotting a family of 11 people sitting at one of his tables.

The group included five children who, as their parents conversed amiably with a glass of wine, sat with "much composure" playing with markers, drawing pens and colouring books.  Read more...

Smart glasses are digital eyes for the legally blind

Yvonne Felix is watching me. This would not be remarkable for most people I meet with, but Felix is legally blind.

She smiles and tells me she can see me taking notes on my computer and every time I look up at her. I can’t see her eyes, but the special visor she’s wearing from eSight is pointed in my direction.

Felix, who suffers from Stargardt Disease, a juvenile form of macular degeneration, was declared legally blind when she was 13. For Felix, who came to my office to demonstrate eSight 3 smart glasses, this means she has a large, totally blind spot in the middle of her vision, no depth perception, an inability to discern colors and only blurry peripheral vision.  Read more...

Domino's Pizza failed spectacularly at making a heart-shaped pizza yesterday

At least you put the effort in, Domino's.

Valentine's Day is the time for people to surprise their loved ones with gifts and trips. With all of the work put into these surprises, one would hope that their plans would go smoothly.

Reddit user chopped_broccoli was surprised by their girlfriend when she sent a heart shaped pizza to their hotel room while they were away on a business trip. However, when they opened the box, the pizza didn't really look .

A girl made poop-shaped brownies to see if sight affects taste. We're thinking it does.

It's been said that when it comes to food, you eat with your eyes first.

So when Imgur user addrandomusernamehere's daughter created this science project to investigate whether or not sight affects taste, she really gave a sh*t and went all in:

The user's wife created these absolutely horrifying poop-shaped brownies to amp up their daughters project and probably terrify her teacher.

The inclusion of nuts and we're guessing caramel sauce add a disturbing accuracy to the already unappealing brownies.

Disgusted is an understatement. We're straight up nauseous. Read more...

2 super-cool 'Prey' features were also 'a nightmare' to develop

We haven't seen a whole hell of a lot of Arkane Studios' Prey just yet. Even the hour I spent with the game contained me to the opening act, where your abilities and arsenal are mere starting points for Morgan Yu, the character you play.

We've gotten glimpses at how the game will play. We know we will play as Morgan, a test subject on the Talos I space station set in the not-too-far-off future year of 2032. We know that scientists there are conducting experiments with neuromods that enhance humans' capabilities, and that you will have access to more than one of them, like the alien-based Mimic ability Arkane has shown off a few times now. This social experiment takes a devastating look at academic pressure placed on students

In 2013 alone, 2,471 suicides in India were attributed to "failure in examination," according to the National Crime Records Bureau. It's a stark reminder of how teenagers and students are disproportionately affected by India's suicide crisis, but the academic pressure students face isn't just in school — it's at home, too.

In a bid to de-stress students and their parents, beverage-maker Mirinda launched a devastating social experiment called #ReleaseThePressure.

In #ReleaseThePressure, a bunch of high school students reveal their deepest fears around examinations by penning letters to their parents — who are more often than not the source of that stress. The parents are then called upon separately to read those letters.    Read more...

A new set-top box promises to unite all your content in one place

While you can connect more content and devices to your TV than ever before, a new problem is emerging: you need a roadmap to navigate all your disparate set-top boxes, dongles and sticks connected to your TV's rapidly filling HDMI ports.

A new solution to this overcrowding is Caavo, and yes, it's yet another set-top box, but don't hold that against it. The point of Caavo is to connect all your devices — including your DVR — through a single gateway so you can call up all their content within a single, seamless interface.

The team behind this überbox includes has lots of product experience (one of its founders worked for Dish and Microsoft) as well as the man who invented the Slingbox (although he passed away last year). They unveiled Caavo at yesterday's Code Media event after two years of under-the-radar development. Read more...

Happy Valentine's Day from these adorably terrible heart-shaped pizzas

By the looks of Twitter, many, many people ordered heart-shaped pizzas for Valentine's Day. Unfortunately, very few of these pizzas resembled hearts. In fact, the best characteristic of many of these pizzas was that they were, despite everything, still pizza.

Anyway, here are a bunch of those bad pizzas. They are fun to laugh at if you had a better pizza and also fun to mock if you hate commercialized affection. A win for everyone.

Happy Valentine's Day! If love is dead, blame these.

These wired earbuds fix one of the most annoying things about the iPhone 7

Fact: There's no way to listen to music and charge your iPhone 7/7 Plus at the same time. That is, unless you buy a dongle or switch to wireless headphones.

If neither of those workarounds is to your liking, you can pick up a pair of Pioneer's new Rayz Plus earbuds, which have a Lightning charging port built right into the cable.

It's not the not the most elegant solution — you plug a Lightning cable sideways into the in-line charging port — but it does solve a very real problem.

Image: pioneer

The $150 wired earbuds also come with a few other high-tech features, like an in-line remote control; "AutoPause," which automatically pauses your music when you take them out of your ears and resumes when you put them back; "smart noise canceling" that adjusts the noise cancelation based on the ambient noise around you; and a "smart button" that can be programmed to launch any app with just a press. A new roboadvisor wants to close the retirement savings gap for people of color

Saving for retirement is hard no matter what, but it's especially challenging if you're part of a group that has been historically disadvantaged in income, wealth and investing.

Finhabits, a new retirement savings platform, hopes to close the wealth and investing gap in retirement savings for black and Latino investors.

According to the Economic Policy Institute, 74 percent of Hispanic families and 59 percent of black families in 2013 had no retirement savings. For white families, that number was only 35 percent.

For black and Hispanic families that did have savings marked for retirement, the median amount was $22,000, compared to $73,000 for white families.  Read more...

Whole Foods is getting beaten at its own game

Whole Foods has a paradoxical problem: Its products are just too popular.

The high-end grocery chain said it would close nine stores last week after a year and a half of falling same-store sales.

Yet ironically, the organic food craze it pioneered has never been bigger.

Responsibly-sourced groceries now see the sort of demand of which Whole Foods could only dream during its early decades of relative obscurity.

But there's a catch: All the fuss over organic fare has drawn the eye of mass-market competitors like Kroger, Walmart and Costco which can easily undercut the store's steep prices.  Read more...

Ruth Bader Ginsburg takes time away from saving our country to save your relationship

You can't really go wrong following any advice that genius legal badass Ruth Bader Ginsburg gives you. It turns out that’s especially true when it comes to love.

The Supreme Court justice and feminist internet superhero Notorious RBG spoke recently at Stanford University, where she shared some advice that she’d been given by her mother-in-law on her wedding day:

"'In every good marriage,' she counseled, 'it helps sometimes to be a little deaf.' I have followed that advice assiduously, and not only at home through 56 years of a marital partnership nonpareil. I have employed it as well in every workplace, including the Supreme Court. When a thoughtless or unkind word is spoken, best tune out. Reacting in anger or annoyance will not advance one’s ability to persuade." Read more...

NASA may put astronauts on the first flight of its new mega-rocket

NASA astronauts may fly to space atop the agency's brand new mega-rocket a lot sooner than expected.

On Wednesday, NASA's acting administrator Robert Lightfoot sent out a memo to employees explaining that he has asked the agency to perform a study looking into what it would take for NASA to launch people on the first flight of the giant Space Launch System rocket. This rocket system, which would be the agency's most powerful yet, is currently under development.

It's generally considered a risky move to put astronauts on the first flight of an untested rocket.

'It Can't Happen Here' – and (so far) it hasn't

The Dystopia Project is Mashable's ongoing book series reflecting on what dystopian fiction has to tell us under a Trump administration. We'll debrief a new book every two weeks, teasing out its secrets.

As Nineteen Eighty-Four raced to the top of the Amazon bestseller list right after Trump's inauguration, for very good reasons, there was another dystopian book hot on its tail: Sinclair Lewis' It Can't Happen Here.

There were good reasons for the sudden flurry of interest in this 1935 novel, too. Lewis' book is the first of only two attempts by major American authors to follow the election of a populist U.S. president who turns out to be a fascist dictator. (The other is Philip Roth's The Plot Against America, which we'll get to in a future Dystopia Project post.)  Read more...

What I learned from using Snap Spectacles as a marketer, tech geek and a dad

There’s nothing cooler than a dad walking down the street sporting a sweet pair of new sunglasses –– at least that’s what I tell myself. Sure, it’s wishful thinking, unless he’s wearing Snap’s new Spectacles.

In the midst of Snap’s financials getting picked apart during its run-up to an IPO, I got my hands on a pair of the headline-generating eyewear. And while the jury’s out on how these new accessories have moved the needle on my cool dad barometer, they’ve definitely made an impact on how I’m thinking about social strategy and the future of storytelling.

As the co-founder of a social media agency, I’m pondering the opportunities Spectacles can bring to both our clients, aiding in our attempt to spark next-level joy for their customers and fans. But I’m also an undeniable tech enthusiast and [cool] dad, so was naturally excited for a new addition to my collection of first-run technology… from the Palm Pilot to my Apple Watch.  Read more...

NBC's smooth-talking Keith Morrison is the new voice of Waze

Hello lost drivers of the world. We have some good news.

After Morrison's loyal social media followers continually suggested he voice the app, NBC suggested the cameo.

In an interview with USA Today's "Talking Tech," Morrison admitted upon learning of the potential opportunity, he thought, "You’re out of your mind. They can’t do that." But alas, "It turns out they can," he said, "And it was kind of fun to do it." Read more...

This is the real reason Apple's senior leadership lacks diversity

Apple should be working faster. Not on building the next iPhone, or even creating the next hit TV show, but rather, on increasing the diversity at the company.

That's what a small group of shareholders, led by vocal investor Tony Maldonado, have been pushing. Later this month, Apple shareholders will vote on a proposal to increase the diversity of executives and board members through an "accelerated recruitment policy."

Apple's advised shareholders to vote against the new proposal, stating that it has programs to address the issue throughout the company.

But one point that Apple doesn't emphasize—and one reason for its current lack of diversity at the top—is how hiring works within Apple. To become a senior-level VP or a C-suite exec at Apple, you most likely have worked at the company for decades. And decades ago, diversity hiring practices weren't nearly as important or scrutinized as they are right now. Therefore, if you have seniority at Apple, odds are, you're a white male. Read more...

BlackBerry's smartphone market share is finally 0%

BlackBerry sold 200,000 of its own phones last year, but that might as well have been zero.

The onetime leader in smartphones sales made up zero percent — or 0.0482 percent — of global smartphone purchases in the fourth quarter of 2016.

Business Insider spotted the stat in research from the firm Gartner tracking smartphone sales.

In the last three months of 2016, BlackBerry sold 207,900 of its own devices running its own operating system.

That number becomes zero when factored into the 432 million smartphones sold during that time period.  Read more...

Yosemite National Park's glowing 'Firefall' draws photographers for annual natural phenomenon

Each year in February, if the conditions are just right, Yosemite National Park's Horsetail Fall will glow bright orange for a phenomenon fans call the "Firefall."

When sun hits the waterfall at the right angle, it lights the water — which flow down the side of the rock formation El Capitan — for about 10 minutes

The Firefall is a major draw for photographers looking to capture the unusual natural phenomenon at its brightest.

The Return of Firefall I had published photographs of this phenomenon last year. This year, I feel fortunate to have been one of the firsts to witness it. In fact, I just drove back home after seeing this unforgettable moment. This is the Horse tail waterfall in the Yosemite National Park. Every year for a few days in February, the sun sets at a certain angle and illuminates the waterfall in luminescent orange and red, making it look like a molten lava. Untangling the The Weeknd's new toxic masculinity banger dissing Justin Bieber

It was only a matter of time before a couple of dudes not liking each other because they both feel ownership of the same woman devolved into lyrics about balls.

The Weeknd and Nav's new track, "Some Way," is an ode to the unchecked male ego. They brag about a lot of things, including and not limited to being better at sex than their ladies' exes. "I think your girl, think your girl, fell in love with me," sings The Weeknd a.k.a. Abel Tesfaye."She say my fuck and my tongue game a remedy."

It really seems to be a diss directed at Justin Bieber, who has been public about his distaste for Tesfaye after Selena Gomez dared to move on from a relationship that ended years ago by stepping out with Tesfaye. Read more...

A dinosaur-era reptile popped out babies, not eggs

Mammals give birth to babies, reptiles pop out eggs, right? An ancient fossil unearthed in China suggests the latter wasn't always true.

Paleontologists have found a 245-million-year-old fossil of a pregnant reptile and her curled-up embryo.

The discovery suggests this long-necked reptile may have ditched its egg-bearing ways over time to gain a biological advantage, according to a study published Wednesday in the journal Nature Communications.

In its day, the Dinocephalosaurus could grow to be at least 13 feet long — with the neck making up about half that length. The aquatic reptile was a relative of dinosaurs and is a distant ancestor of modern crocodiles and birds, all of which belong to the major clade Archosauromorpha.  Read more...
