A simple illustration reveals everything you need to know about the connection between Trump and Russia

Manafort. Page. Gordon. Stone. Kislyak. Sater.

Trump's connections to Russia appear to be so tangled and unwieldy, they're almost impossible to unwind. Even after today's bombshell report by The Associated Press, Democrats and maybe a handful of nice Republicans keep trying to map those relationships, to seemingly no avail.

Until this illustration.

Here's a map of Trump's connections to Russia. While others have been skeptical, we simply looked at the glaring evidence.

Just connect the dots.

Confused? Here's how to get your laptop to your destination

Search the internet about how to pack your laptop in checked luggage, and you'll find a recurring theme: don't.

But, in light of the new electronic device restrictions being implemented for flights into the United States from 10 international airports, some travelers won't have a choice anymore.

For passengers affected by the restriction, there are only two options: ship your laptop to your destination or put it in your checked luggage. Well, there's a third option — don't take your laptop — that's not so realistic for business travelers.  Read more...

Kristi Yamaguchi's tweet to Nancy Kerrigan proves 1994 ice skater drama is alive and well

Nancy Kerrigan is competing on this season of Dancing With the Stars, and this time around, Tonya Harding isn't around to intervene.

But ice skater drama is forever, so Kristi Yamaguchi, 1992 gold medalist and a previous champion of the reality show, chimed in to give her fellow '90s ice queen some cold advice.

So excited for you @NancyAKerrigan ! Can't wait to see you grace that ballroom floor, break a leg! 💃🏻#DWTS

YouTube is finally paying a big price for hosting hateful content

Some of America's biggest advertisers are joining their British counterparts in boycotting Google.

AT&T, car rental giant Enterprise, and pharmaceutical company GSK have each decided to suspend all YouTube ads after The Times of London reported that the brands had appeared alongside videos with hate speech and extremism.

The companies are among the first in the United States to join what's become a full-scale revolt among advertisers in the UK this week.

The decisions all come the day after Google announced a handful of new tools meant to give advertisers more control over where their ads appear. The search giant has also apologized repeatedly and vowed to beef up the staff dedicated to sussing out extreme content. Read more...

Tech company offers $10,000 to 'de-locate' out of San Francisco

San Francisco is the best — and not just because I'm a native to the city by the bay. It's the center of tech, innovation, art and creativity. Don't forget its geographic beauty and easy access to world-class wine, food and nature.

But even I have to acknowledge that my hometown and surrounding area, famously known for its startups and giant Silicon Valley companies, is also an unsustainable rental market.

Because it's so expensive to settle down here, one tech company is taking a new approach to the high cost of living. Zapier, an apps integration and automation company, is offering its employees $10,000 to leave. Read more...

Americans are eating less beef. Here's why that matters for climate change

American diners are eating fewer burgers, steaks and meatballs, and that's making a noticeable dent in the nation's greenhouse gas emissions, a new study found.

U.S. beef consumption fell by nearly one-fifth — or 19 percent — on a per capita basis from 2005 to 2014, the Natural Resources Defense Council (NRDC) said Wednesday in a report. Eating less beef resulted in pollution reductions equal to removing 39 million cars from U.S. roads.

"I'm used to bad news on climate, but this is a rare bright spot," said Sujatha Bergen, the study's lead author and a policy specialist in NRDC's food and agriculture program. Read more...

Medium's next big idea to 'fix' the internet: $5 subscriptions

Ev Williams wrote at the start of 2015 that he was taking Medium in a new direction because ad-driven media on the internet was "broken."

The future? Subscriptions.

"Medium will remain the best place to share ideas that matter and to find independent voices and fresh perspectives  —  for free. For members, it will get better. For $5 per month (introductory price), you’ll get two upgraded aspects..." he wrote in a blog post published Wednesday.

Those aspects are a new reading experience that Medium has yet to roll out (and will feature a select list of curated stories), along with better content thanks to a pledge to give all subscriber money, for the first few months, to writers and publishers on its platform. After that, the subscriptions revenue will split between content creators and Medium in an undisclosed way. Read more...

Critics who called out Chelsea Clinton for 'Lifetime Impact Award' made one large error

The award, announced on Wednesday, is called the Lifetime Impact Award. This is because it is presented in partnership with the TV network Lifetime.

Unfortunately, some too-eager Twitter users, then journalists, then whole outletsThe Hill, Heat Street and Death and Taxes, to name a few — did not make this connection.

If Obamacare dies, a Facebook post could cause you to lose your health insurance

It's a scary thing, to hear something that’s been lurking over you for decades get a name.

My therapist used words like "depression" and "anxiety." Maybe some people take comfort in it. I didn't. I met those labels face-to-face, for the first time, and no weight lifted from my shoulders. But it was a start.

It's also evidence of a pre-existing condition. And if Obamacare's repealed, it's possible that people could be denied coverage for something like what I'm doing right now: Writing about their mental illness on websites and social media. That could include me, and millions of other Americans who've taken to the internet to give and take solace in the sharing of these intensely personal experiences. Read more...

Does AppleCare care about the electronics travel ban? Maybe!

There's no nice way to say it: The new travel restrictions on electronics suck, and they're going to make flying more of a pain in the ass for passengers.

If you're flying to the U.S. from the affected Middle East and North African airports, you won't be able to bring any electronic devices larger than a smartphone on flights. This means tablets, laptops, etc. will need to be placed in checked luggage, which increases the chance of them getting damaged during transport.

'Handmaid's Tale' protest calls out Texas' attempts to roll back reproductive rights

A dystopian novel that has seen newfound attention since Trump's election came to life this week at a Texas protest over legislation limiting reproductive rights.

It's time to start thinking about cybersecurity for sharks. Yes, the fish.

In 2015, three scientists sent an anguished note to the journal Conservation Letters

Anti-shark paranoia was settling over Western Australia, and the state government had issued a controversial kill order. Scientists said the cull's safety benefits were unproven and could potentially hurt recovering populations of white sharks. Worse, they claimed at least one shark marked for death was located only because it had been acoustically tagged by researchers.

The policy was eventually abandoned, but it highlighted an important point: Fitting animals with transmitters so scientists can track their every movement may also leave them vulnerable. Technology that's ostensibly there to help these species thrive can actually be used against them. Read more...

NBA road teams are winning more because of dating apps. No, really.

Back in the late 80s, the home team in a given NBA game beat its visiting opponent 68 percent of the time, according to ESPN. That number has declined since, and this season it's at an all-time low: Despite the controversy of star players sometimes resting during road games, home NBA teams now beat their visiting opponents just 57 percent of the time.

What gives? To be sure, travel is more streamlined and players take better care of their bodies nowadays. But basketball insiders point to another helpful development as well: Technology has made it easier for NBA players to get laid.

Koalas don't like water but they're being 'driven to drink' by climate change

But thanks to climate change, our marsupial friends are being driven to drink more water than ever before. Their leaves are simply drying up.

That's a phenomenon that's led researchers at the University of Sydney in Australia to conduct a long-term study on the impact of water on koala populations, and its potential benefits. It's even seen them set up special "drinking stations" just for koalas. Read more...

3 reasons to worry about the FBI's facial recognition program

This formula explains why NYC is great for ride-sharing and Sydney is terrible

The ebb and flow of a city may feel entirely unique, but it turns out there are universal laws that may govern the chaos of your commute.

J.K. Rowling tweets heartwarming message in the wake of the London terror attack

In the aftermath of the London terror attack which has left four people dead and many more injured, people have been sharing messages of hope and defiance on Twitter.

J.K. Rowling is no exception. On Wednesday evening, the author responded to a tweet from radio presenter Julia Hartley-Brewer with a message of resistance.

Here's Hartley-Brewer's original tweet.

ONE man armed with just a car & knives can kill FOUR people & injure 20, many seriously, on our streets. This is the country we now live in.

Donald Trump Jr. tweeted about the London attack — and got instantly dragged

Politicians are often accused of trying to capitalise on terror attacks for their own agenda.

So when Donald Trump Jr. sent a contemptuous tweet criticising London Mayor Sadiq Khan in the aftermath of the Westminster terror attack that left three dead, Britons weren't happy.

The U.S. president's son tweeted a link to a September 2016 story in The Independent, quoting Khan as saying terror attacks were "part and parcel of living in a big city."

You have to be kidding me?!: Terror attacks are part of living in big city, says London Mayor Sadiq Khan https://t.co/uSm2pwRTjO

India gives legal human status to two of its oldest rivers

This is a rarity. And it has happened twice within a week.

After New Zealand granted Whanganui River the status of a human being, India's done it for two of its oldest, longest and most iconic rivers: Ganga and Yamuna.

In a landmark ruling by the Uttarakhand High Court in northern India, the Ganga and its longest tributary, Yamuna, have been declared “legal and living entities having the status of a legal person with all corresponding rights, duties and liabilities."

This essentially means that if anyone is polluting the rivers, it amounts to harming a human being and thus, invites legal action. Read more...

Google adds audio calling to Duo and file sharing to Allo

Google's video calling app Duo and messaging app Allo will soon get some oft-requested features.

Google announced the changes to its communication apps, as well as some upgrades of other apps in services, at an event in São Paulo, Brazil, on Wednesday.

When Duo originally launched, it had an odd omission: You could use it for a video call, but not an audio-only call. Now, Google fixed this; the company says audio calls will work well even on slow connections and won't eat up much data. The feature is live in Brazil now, and will be rolled to the rest of the world "in the coming days." Read more...

Boiled eggs - yes, eggs - are the latest beauty trick

Lately we've seen just about every household object turned into a makeshift beauty blender, from condoms to kitchen sponges. But, one beauty blogger has taken things to a whole new level by bringing food into the equation by using a hard boiled egg.

Esther Gbudje from London posted a video tutorial in which she applied her foundation with an egg. And, by the looks of things, it did a pretty decent job.

In the video's caption, Gbudje explained that she'd seen various household objects being turned into beauty blenders, but she decided to take things up a notch with her egg blender

"Well anyway did it work? YES it did. Would I use it again? Hmmmm, MAYBE." wrote Gbudje.

Um, we'll take your word for it. Read more...

Stephen Colbert rips Republicans' new 'three-bucket' healthcare strategy

According to Stephen Colbert, the "Trumpcare" bill, which would leave 24 million people without insurance, "has a preexisting condition. Everyone hates it."

So, the GOP is attempting to salvage the bill's reputation by insisting it's just one part of a "three-bucket strategy" to overhaul American healthcare. Ah, yes. Buckets. Three mysterious buckets.

Colbert made a salient point, though, one that really gets to the heart of the matter: "With all those buckets, think of how much money you'll save on urns." Read more...

Michael Kors' new smartwatches let you make custom watch faces using your Instagram pics

Contrary to popular belief, smartwatches — especially ones running Android Wear — aren't really totally dead.

While the majority of phone makers have taken a break from releasing new AW smartwatches and are focusing more efforts on releasing sportier, cellular-connected smartwatches that work independent of phones, the fashion world has basically swooped in to fill the void.

Case in point: Michael Kors' new smartwatches that run Android Wear 2.0 and put style ahead of everything.

'Shots Fired' is the most vital show on TV right now

The first episode of Shots Fired opens with a now painfully familiar scenario: A small-town cop has shot an unarmed teenager. One major difference? The cop is black, and the dead teen is white.

But before the small North Carolina town has a chance to grapple with the incident, the neglected murder of an African-American teen is brought to light, opening wounds that threaten to tear the community apart.

So begins Fox's 10-episode drama, created and written by husband-and-wife producing duo Reggie Bythewood and Gina Prince-Bythewood, which aims to explore the racial divides in America's justice system from every angle.  Read more...

Samantha Bee: Trump's budget reveals he 'has no f*cking clue'

Samantha Bee opened her show on Wednesday with a massive eye-roll at Donald Trump's proposed federal budget cuts. The "hard power budget" guts energy, the EPA, education, etc.

Bee pointed out that Trump is falling out of favor to the point that members of his own party don't support the budget (Sen. Lindsey Graham called it "Dead on arrival).

The episode also goes in on counterterrorism analyst (there's some excellent eye-rolling there too) Dr. Sebastian L. v Gorka, the "Trump Whisperer" the President frequently watches on Fox News (along with the rest of its lineup). Adobe Summit 2017: Bad habits in marketing that need to end immediately

It’s day two of the Adobe Summit in Las Vegas and it's time to reflect upon everything we’ve learned in the past 24 hours. The opening song used to introduce John Mellor, Vice President of Strategy, Alliances & Marketing at Adobe, had some very fitting lyrics that fit the subject matter at hand: "the world won't change if you stay the same."

The theme of this session was less about product this time, less about tech and more focused on inspiration and reinvention. Mellor proved to have a few more tricks up his sleeve.

"I have spent the last two months mastering magic,” began Mellor. “I'm about to blow your minds and pull a rabbit out of my hat."     Read more...

U.S. Senate to America: Yeah, we’ll let internet providers pimp out your personal data

However much you hate your cable company, know that they love you—and all the money you give them. Now, they've got another reason to love you, courtesy of the U.S. Senate, and the vote they just finished: Whoever provides your internet access will now be free to track what you look at online, and then, sell that information to other companies.

By a vote of 50-48, the U.S. Senate on Thursday approved a resolution that repealed a requirement put in place by the Federal Communications Commission forcing internet service providers (like: cable companies, or the companies that you pay for internet access) to obtain permission from their consumers before tracking and selling their data.  Read more...

Did you know you shouldn't feed ducks bread? These people didn't.

If your fond childhood memories include tossing bread crusts to ducks in the park, congratulations: you f*cked up.

Yes, reader, it's true. Ducks are not supposed to eat bread. Not only is it low in nutritional value, but it can also pile up on the ground and become tainted, accelerating the spread of disease.

Now, this is not new information. But a lot of people understandably didn't know — including a Twitter user named Dallas, who came across this sign from a local park.

"Thank you for not feeding [ducks] bread," the sign says. Read more...

'Assassin's Creed' is coming to TV — and that might actually work

This sure would be a new "Leap of Faith" for the Assassin's Creed series.

First, the news. Aymar Azaizia, Ubisoft's "Head of Content" for the popular series, outed the existence of a made-for-TV project set in the Assassin's universe.

The revelation came from a Reddit AMA session, in response to a question "about the 'TV Show' project for AC." Azaizia begged off of sharing any details, but did seem to indicate a TV..something is on its way.

"It's like the movie guys, we will take our time, to get sure we deliver something we can be proud of, but if you wander [sic] if it's on our plan... YES." Read more...

Millennials can't shut up about sex, blame the internet

I'm a millennial and I can't stop oversharing about my sex life. And, while I hate to point the finger, I blame social media

I first realised I was a sexual oversharer during a pretty uncomfortable moment with a new housemate — someone I barely knew, but was trying to get to know. As I sipped my first coffee of the day, I leant across and told my new housemate something I’d told other friends just days previous. I described, in graphic detail, a sexual escapade; "Rachel," my new housemate said without a hint of a smile. "That is too much information for me. Seriously."

Ellen DeGeneres gets 'The Bachelorette' started early with a group date on her show

Nick and Vanessa who?

After not receiving a rose last season on The Bachelor, it's finally Rachel Lindsay's turn to hand them out as the latest The Bachelorette.

Her journey of love hasn't quite started, but thanks to a recent group date that took place at The Ellen DeGeneres Show, we have a glimpse of what to expect.

Rachel, just a week into Bachelorette duties, brought six guys with her to DeGeneres' studio to play a game.

The contestants strip, show off their tattoos and awkwardly gyrate on audience members for cash to the only tune acceptable in this scenario, "Pony, " by Ginuwine.   Read more...

Deadpool butts in where he doesn't belong in this NSFW 'Beauty and the Beast' parody

We didn't see this parody coming, but now that it's here it seems like a very obvious mashup that needed to happen.

Of course, we could easily see Deadpool being the star of his own musical. And of course, the song "Gaston" from Beauty and the Beast is a perfect fit for Deadpool to proclaim his own Deadpool-ness.

Yet another unnecessary parody that is necessary now that it's been made. Read more...

Maxine Waters tweets Trump impeachment joke, gets best response

Holy crap. Every time you think President Trump and his administration can't possibly get any worse at using Twitter ... they do.

It's just — it's truly unbelievable, and on Wednesday afternoon, things escalated when the official Twitter account of Trump's very own Secretary of Transportation, Elaine Chao, tweeted something so phenomenal, so absurd, so utterly LOL-worthy that, though it's been deleted, it will leave a permanent imprint on our hearts for the rest of time.

This wasn't one of Trump's passionate insults or Sean Spicer's accidental password tweets. Instead, Chao's account tweeted in support of Trump's impeachment at the coolest Democratic congresswoman in all the land, Maxine Waters. Does it get any better? Read more...

Instagram will soon censor sensitive content in your feed

Instagram just announced a major change to how it deals with posts that contain sensitive content.

The app will soon begin to blur out photos and videos that have been deemed "sensitive." Users will still be able to view the images but will need to take the additional step of tapping on the post in order to see them.

It's not clear what types of "sensitive" content will earn your post the new treatment. It doesn't sound like the company is changing any of its policies but rather hoping to use the new "sensitive" filter as a kind of compromise when some users find something offensive even if it doesn't violate Instagram's guidelines. It only took us five minutes to find a big brand advertising on a hate group's YouTube

Google's facing an advertiser revolt this week after it came to light that several big brands' ads were served on YouTube videos promoting terrorism, extremism, and other violent forms of hate.

More than 250 brands have split from YouTube after various investigations in the Times of London outed the ad placements. Needless to say, brands don't want their ads being served on YouTube's most hateful content. And how often are their ads served in these cesspools?

Well: It took us just around five minutes on YouTube to confirm how big of a problem this is. That's it.

Director with bad Rotten Tomatoes ratings slams Rotten Tomatoes

Are loving movie reviews and reading their Rotten Tomatoes ratings mutually exclusive? Apparently, according to Rush Hour director Brett Ratner, who recently spoke with Entertainment Weekly about his hatred of the latter.

“The worst thing that we have in today’s movie culture is Rotten Tomatoes,” said Ratner, whose company helped finance the famously panned Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice (he also directed X-Men: The Last Stand — never forget). “I think it’s the destruction of our business."

"Now it’s about, ‘What’s your Rotten Tomatoes score?’" he added later, referring to how movie reception has changed over time. "And that’s sad, because the Rotten Tomatoes score was so low on Batman v Superman I think it put a cloud over a movie that was incredibly successful.” Read more...

'Overwatch' player uses bongos and a Nerf gun to play Orisa

People keep using weird objects to play Overwatch, but this is the first time anyone has used the bongo controller from 2003's Donkey Konga.

Twitch streamer and YouTuber ATwerkingYoshi busted out the bongos, a Nerf gun, a yard sign on a stick and a Dance Dance Revolution dance pad to play the newest Overwatch hero Orisa, who has an automatic weapon for an arm and a hand drum-shaped ultimate ability. He posted a gif from his stream on Reddit Wednesday.

The Nerf gun is outfitted with a Wii controller for aiming while the trigger shoots Orisa's gun. Meanwhile hitting the bongos will trigger two of Orisa's abilities, Protective Barrier and Fortify. Orisa's third ability Halt! is triggered by moving the "No Trespassing" sign. Very appropriate. Read more...

Emirates offers ingenious workaround to the laptop ban

Airlines are getting creative following the new ban on electronic devices on flights into the U.S. from certain Middle Eastern and African airports.

Emirates, one of those affected with flights coming in from Dubai, announced Thursday a service for laptop-using travelers who want to use their banned device to actually get some work done.

The new service lets passengers use their laptops and tablets until right before they board. That means time at the gate won't be wasted with your computer long gone in checked baggage. Then, when it's time to board, Emirates will collect the devices and pack them away in the cargo hold. Once in the U.S., the devices will be returned — all at no charge. Read more...

Potter Puppet Pals' 'Mysterious Ticking Noise' is 10 years old, so you're basically dying

If you're part of the Harry Potter generation, you probably remember the hit 2007 club banger "The Mysterious Ticking Noise" from Potter Puppet Pals. That video is exactly 10 years old now, so we're going to go drown in wizard angst over the passage of time.

In "The Mysterious Ticking Noise," Severus Snape wanders the blue-curtained halls of Hogwarts in search of the source of a "kind of catchy" ticking sound he can't seem to shake. He starts singing his name to the tempo of the ticking, and Dumbledore, Ron, Hermione and Harry catch on. The video has been viewed over 172 million times.  Read more...

Facebook is still trying to get people to use it for shopping

Facebook still wants to turn your News Feed into an online shopping tool.

Its latest effort to turn into an ecommerce giant is a new ad format that lets brands pair their commercials with collections of images and product listings in the same post.

When clicked, the images lead to a catalog of a given retailers' items hosted within Facebook. But users will be directed off the platform if they actually want to buy something.

Facebook has been trying to get people to shop through its site for years with features like buy buttons, in-platform stores and chatbots. It's even launched its own Craigslist competitor. Read more...

Earliest dinosaurs may have originally come from Britain, new study says

Dinosaurs just can't get a break. First, a comet slams into the Earth and renders them extinct. Now a group of scientists wants to dramatically shake-up the dino family tree.

A new study, published this week in the journal Nature, proposes a major reordering of dinosaurs' evolutionary history.

The revised tree swaps around large subfamilies and adds a new branch for the Tyrannosaurus Rex and its ilk. The study also suggests that dinosaurs may have originated in the Northern Hemisphere, possibly in an area that is now Britain — not in South America, as scientists have long assumed.

A new 'Justice League' trailer is right around the corner

Only the biggest of movies get the privilege of teasing the teaser and making us pay attention.

For better or worse, Justice League, you certainly qualify.

Warner Bros. on Thursday revealed that "IN 2 DAYS" (that's Saturday, if you do the math) a new Justice League trailer will arrive, and though they're not saying exactly what time, you'd have to get up pretty early in the morning to slip this thing past us.

Zack Snyder dropped the first Justice League footage back in July at Comic-Con, then released it to his Twitter account shortly after the Hall H presentation. Though we've seen plenty of Wonder Woman (a June 2 release) since then, it's been all quiet on the Justice League front (November 17).  Read more...

Give your useless DVDs new life with this new digital conversion app

When was the last time you actually watched a movie on DVD? Maybe like, 2014?

You probably still have a dusty stack of plastic boxes sitting on a shelf somewhere, though, doing little more than taking up space as you flip through multiple streaming services for your TV time.

Walmart-owned Vudu has offered disc-rich movie fans the ability to convert their DVDs and Blu-rays to digital files in-store and at home for some time through its Disc-to-Digital program. Starting today, the app's new Mobile Disc-to-Digital service should make the process even easier: All you'll need is your smartphone and the barcodes on your old DVD boxes to bolster your personal digital library.  Read more...

'Game of Thrones' script reveals the truth about Stannis Baratheon's fate

Death isn't always permanent on Game of Thrones (just ask Jon Snow), which sometimes leads to conspiracy theories whenever a character is seemingly killed off without showing us the fatal blow onscreen.

Such is the case with Stannis Baratheon (Stephen Dillane), who died at the vengeful hands of Brienne of Tarth (Gwendoline Christie) in the Season 5 finaleOr did he?

(Yes, he did.)

Despite persistent fan theories that Brienne might have inexplicably decided to spare the life of the man she's been trying to kill for three seasons mid-swing, a newly uncovered script for the Emmy-winning episode confirms what most of us accepted all along — that Brienne succeeded in her mission and fulfilled her vow to make Stannis pay for the murder of his brother, Renly (Gethin Anthony) back in Season 2.  Read more...

India's controversial biometric ID card system could become the only one

If you were waiting for the Indian government to slow down (or completely stop) with its push to bring Aadhaar biometric identity system into your lives, don’t hold your breath.

Started as an optional program, in the recent years, the government has upped the ante and has made it mandatory to use Aadhar card in order to access other services.

As has been the case in the past, the decision was immediately met with sharp criticism.

But the government is now clarifying that it won’t be withdrawing its move, giving its citizens yet another look at how it intends to move forward with its biometric system.  Read more...

Disney boss drops hot new details on Han Solo, Luke Skywalker

Details on upcoming Star Wars films are usually harder to find than Death Star plans. But Disney CEO Bob Iger just dropped a few key details about The Last Jedi and the untitled young Han Solo movie in an on-stage interview Thursday.

Iger was being interviewed by the dean of USC's Annenberg school, Willow Bay — who also happens to be his wife. When Bay asked about the galaxy far, far away, according to a reporter in the audience, Iger was more than forthcoming.

On The Last Jedi, in theaters this December, Iger confirmed that Mark Hamill "has a big role" and "will do a lot of talking," the Wall Street Journal's Ben Fritz reported.  Read more...

Apple patents a way to transform your iPhone or iPad into a MacBook

Forget the iPhone 8 (or "X" or "Edition" or whatever it'll be called) that's coming later this year. As tech obsessors, we want to know what Apple's cooking up in its secret Cupertino labs for the future.

A new patent made public on Thursday (via AppleInsider) suggests Apple is exploring the idea of turning your iPhone into a "brain" that powers a MacBook-liked device.

As with all patents, the description is broad and vague. In a nutshell, the patent describes a thin laptop-like shell (referred to as an "accessory device") without a processor. Read more...
