On a holiday weekend featuring headlines about Donald Trump's profiting off of his impending presidency, one smaller example of those gains lies in Trump's own high-rise home. This is the sixth time a Tennessee Lottery player has won the Powerball. The nightmare hacking scenario many have feared has finally happened near the heart of Silicon Valley: a major rapid transit system has been hacked. San Francisco's Municipal Transportation System, known locally as Muni, was hacked on Friday, with hackers leaving the message 'You Hacked, ALL Data Encrypted,' on Muni computer screens around the city on Saturday, according to the San Francisco Examiner. The message from the hackers also included a contact email address that Muni officials could supposedly "contact for [the encryption] key." The hacking incident was confirmed by a Muni worker who spoke to the paper, however, the man declined to give his name for fear of "workplace retaliation." Read more... Meet George the wombat, who calls Sydney's Australian Reptile Park home. Wild wombats are nocturnal and rather rather solitary, but this young fellow is all about lazily waddling, occasionally galloping and indulging in the odd tummy rub or three. We'd argue there's nothing better to soothe the soul than watching this little bundle of baby wombat joy have a cheeky frolic with his human best friend. Moroccan TV program Sabahiyat has left a bad taste in the mouths of viewers, after it ran a segment showing female viewers how to cover up domestic abuse injuries with makeup. Airing last Wednesday, channel 2M's morning show brought on make-up artist Lilia Mouline to offer women tips. Specifically, tips on how to use make-up to "camouflage traces of violence." Once the video was uploaded to social media, the condemnation was swift. Protests in South Korea just keep getting bigger: organizers estimate 1.5 million people
South Korea's protests against President Park Geun-hye continue to gather steam. This is the fifth straight weekend that the protests calling for Park's resignation have taken place, and the numbers keep climbing. Organisers in Seoul said 1.5 million people came, while authorities said it was more like 270,000. It's the stuff of nightmares, really. And if it happened to you, you'd want these nice strangers around. Footage from Sydney, Australia on Monday has captured the moment a man's car spiralled out of control on a major road in the city's west. After allegedly collapsing at the wheel, the man's foot seemed to remain on the accelerator, causing it to spin. Other drivers responded by getting out of their car and lending support — trying to stop the swirling four wheel drive. Buyers of Tesla's Model S and Model X cars will start getting new self-driving capabilities in their vehicles around mid-December, Tesla CEO Elon Musk has announced. In a tweet Sunday, noticed by Electrek, Musk said the feature should arrive in "about three weeks." He also said the new features will be rolled out incrementally, in "monthly releases."

A monster sinkhole that was repaired in 48 hours in the Japanese city of Fukuoka is sinking again. Local police closed part of the road near JR Hakata railway station because a section of it began sinking again. The road has since been re-opened. An official of the Fukuoka city government said the road had sunk by up to 7 centimetres over an area of 30 square metres. A theme park in Japan has been forced to close its skating rink after it received a wave of criticism over its main feature: dead sprats and mackerels trapped under ice so that people can skate on them. The 64GB model of the Chinese company’s new flagship phone is available for £399 in the United Kingdom, while the 128GB variant of the phone will set you back by £439. The prices are somewhat similar in other parts of Europe as well, with the 64GB and 128GB of OnePlus 3T retailing at around €439 and €479, respectively. As rural India struggles to cope up with the country’s demonetization push, an Indian bank has come forward to help some transition to a cashless society. ICICI Bank announced on Monday that it will transform 100 villages into "Digital Villages" over the next 100 days. The move to help villagers comes roughly a year after ICICI successfully turned Akodara, a village in the western state of Gujarat into a cashless village, CEO Chanda Kochhar said during a conference call. ICICI Bank says it will also make it much easier for people to open a bank account and go about their daily transactions. The financial institution says it will have tablet-based solutions and only need villagers to provide their e-KYC information (as opposed to physical documents) when opening an account. CNN is preparing its second major effort to appeal to a younger generation of news consumers. And this time it's tapping one of YouTube's biggest stars. CNN is teaming up with Casey Neistat to launch a new standalone company that will use smartphones to create video content. As part of the move, CNN is buying Neistat's Beme app, which launched in July 2015. CNN did not disclose the terms of the deal. The Beme app will be shut down in the coming weeks while the rest of the company will fold into the new venture owned by CNN. The report also corroborates earlier rumors claiming Apple could release a new top-tier iPhone 8 with an OLED display that'll cost more. A couple was attempting to enjoy a friendly race at a go-kart track in Skopje, Macedonia, when things took a turn for the worse. Everything seems fine from the boyfriend's helmet camera, but just as he approaches the track's first big turn it becomes very clear that his girlfriend was maybe a little too eager to win the race. Just in: Donald Trump has a new hat. With great power, comes great fashion responsibility — thus, the president-elect, known for sporting large red caps featuring his campaign slogan: "Make America Great Again," decided to switch things up before he takes office. Though Trump's new bright red cap delivers a shorter message, it still includes his beloved massive lettering and a patriotic feel. You never know when and where you'll meet your new best friend. YouTuber Henry Hoffman was on a stroll when a fox appeared out of nowhere and really, really wanted to be friends. At one point the fox refused to let go of Hoffman's bag. "I mean obviously he's cool — like he's a fox — but he won't leave me alone right now. Come on, bro," said Hoffman. Eventually, the friendly fox cozied up next to Hoffman for a pet and seemed to even fall asleep while wrapped up in his coat. But not all friendships last forever. During the past two years, Australia's iconic Great Barrier Reef suffered its largest die-off ever recorded — with an average of 67 percent of corals in one area declared dead, scientists said on Monday. The cause was unusually warm waters that pushed the intricate ecosystems past their limits of survival. The worst affected area is a 430 mile section of reefs in the northern part of the reef that has lost an average of 67 percent of its shallow water corals in just the past 8 to 9 months alone. These corals, located off the coast of Cooktown, are now a ghostly white, having expelled the symbiotic algae that gave them their vibrant colors and helped feed a huge array of marine species. This adorable baby goat and her duck costume are totally the G.O.A.T. Polly was rescued by Goats of Anarchy, an Annandale, New Jersey-based sanctuary that rescues special needs baby goats. She suffers from several neurological issues which can sometimes cause anxiety. Luckily, Goats of Anarchy's founder Leanne Lauricella discovered the best (and cutest) way to quell her anxiety: by putting Polly in a fuzzy duck costume. "Polly is very used to being clothed, it's all she knows, so a costume is no different to her... or so I thought," Lauricella wrote to Mashable. "While out shopping one day, I spotted the cute little duck costume and had to have it. The first time I put Polly in the costume, she just closed her eyes and fell asleep. She seemed very peaceful."
